The effectiveness of seven grinding aids, namely triethanolamine, mono- and diethylene glycols, oleic acid, sodium oleate, sulphite waste liquor and dodecylbenzene sulphonic acid on the batch grinding of Portland cement clinker, limestone and quartz was investigated in a laboratory ball mill.
Four cement chemicals were used in cement production, namely, two grinding aids and two strength enhancers for improving the early and final cement strength. The chemical additives used in cement production are commercially available and commonly used in cement factories operating in Turkey.
Every additive needed to make high-quality cement while boosting productivity, efficiency and profitability. Our cement products include high-performance grinding aids, performance enhancers (quality improvers), functional additives and water reducers.
Whatever is the additive used (pure grinding aids, specifically designed to increase production and fineness, or performance enhancers with effect on cement hydration), the choice of the most appropriate relies on a detailed investigation that should consider all the
The cement grinding aids are the additional materials (gas, liquid or solid), admixed in small amounts during the cement grinding process (cement manufacture), which can significantly improve the grinding efficiency, reduce energy consumption, without compromising the performance of the cement.
A grinding aid prevents this agglomeration to improves the grinding efficiency. The aid is generally added to the clinker at a fixed rate from 0.01% to 0.03% before entering to a finishing mill. As a result the grinding improves by 4% to 6% per 0.01% addition of aid.
Cement Grinding Aid "InCem" InCem ® is the best solution for cement grinding. Cement manufacturers have to solve various problems during the production process such as reduction of energy consumption, increase of mill capacity, stabilization of equipment operating modes and improving of the cement quality.
